A chance for knitters of all levels to get together to knit and share techniques and projects in a social environment. I've been knitting sporadically since I was quite young but only really got into it in any depth. I'm looking forward to meeting other knitters in the Bronx (or surrounding areas who want to come).
Relax and get to know other knitters in the area by bringing your portable knitting/crocheting project to the pub! I hope this group will provide a forum for socializing, sharing patterns and projects, commiserating about yarn hoards, and enjoying the local brews. Please share your ideas for building a young knitter community in the Storrs Willimantic area

Looking to start a New Haven branch of my beloved Knit + Wine Brooklyn, a casual monthly gathering of knitters (and crocheters!) of all levels that took place at a local wine bar. I know there are some good wine bars in town, and I'm sure there are knitters, so let's put 'em together!

Come knit and crochet with us on the third Thursday of every month, 10 am to 1 pm. We meet at the Dot2Dot Cafe, home of the best breakfast dish in Boston ("Boston Phoenix"). Why do all knitting groups have to be shy and awkward? If you'd like to meet up with some other ladies (or gentlemen!) who know how to have a good time while getting crafty, then you've found the right group. The goal is to meet like-minded people, who may also be new to the area and looking for a good way to meet people. We get together over happy hour every Wednesday, and have some laughs while working on any amazing or shamelessly crappy projects. We have established ourselves as a group that …

This is a group for anyone who loves to knit or wants to learn to knit. We will work on small projects for donations, particularly hats, scarves and mittens to be donated during the "Midnight Run" over the winter. Beginners welcome, help will be available. Bring your yarn scraps or whatever leftovers you have. I can probably reserve a space in a local White Plains School for an evening once a week. Remembers, scarves are simple and you can easily learn and have fun at the same time!
