7 Meetup Groups match “Knitter's Social” near Glastonbury, CT
Looking to start a New Haven branch of my beloved Knit + Wine Brooklyn, a casual monthly gathering of knitters (and crocheters!) of all levels that took place at a local wine bar. I know there are some good wine bars in town, and I'm sure there are knitters, so let's put 'em together!
There are no upcoming Meetups.
Relax and get to know other knitters in the area by bringing your portable knitting/crocheting project to the pub! I hope this group will provide a forum for socializing, sharing patterns and projects, commiserating about yarn hoards, and enjoying the local brews. Please share your ideas for building a young knitter community in the Storrs Willimantic area
Know how to knit? Want some company? Want to sit, chat, and meet people with similar hobbies who might be having the same trials and tribulations? Then come join us. Meeting date, time, and place, to be decided.

If you live in the area and want to meet other like minded women, make new friends, and join in the fun of having the same love of knitting or crocheting (both!) in common, consider joining us! For now we will meet once a month, but if the group becomes really solid, we can talk about meeting up mo …
Meet, mingle and trade yarns with local knitters! Come to a Knitters Meetup and have fun comparing patterns, sharing techniques and trading tips on stitches, sweaters, socks and mittens. Come join the fun!
Beads East of the River is open to everyone, from newbies to experienced beaders. This group meets to work on bead projects; share inspiration, expertise, feedback, and suggestions; and swap beads and findings. (You know how you always end up with an extra bead or two? Want to trade?) Stringers, seed bead stitchers and knitters, wireworkers, etc., are all welcome. I want all group members, regardless of experience level, to feel comfortable getting and giving advice or help with their bead proj …
